We at Hoops4Camp have created this Privacy Policy because we know privacy is important to you. This Privacy Policy describes what information is gathered when you visit the www.hoops4Camp.com web site, and how that information may be used and shared. By visiting our web site, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
The Information We Collect
If you decide to make a donation online, or sign up online for one of our activities, we will ask you to provide certain personal information, such as your name, email address, postal address and telephone number. We also will ask you to provide us with your credit card information if you are making a donation online. You will always know when we are collecting your personal information or credit card information, because we only collect this information when you voluntarily provide it to us through our online donation and registration processes.

How We Use Your Information
We may use your personal information and credit card information to:
- process your donations and register you for our activities,
- send you confirmation of your donation or registration from either Camp Simcha or Hoops4Camp,
- from time to time send you information about our organization, our activities and requests for your continued support, and
- respond to any questions or comments that you send us.

Removal From Mailing List
If at any time you decide that you would like to stop receiving communications from us, please email your request to: info@hoops4camp.com. Once we receive your request, all reasonable efforts will be taken to promptly remove you from our mailing list.

We may share your personal information and credit card information with third parties in the following limited circumstances:
- We may share your information with certain third parties that help us in carrying out our activities. For example, if you use a credit card to make an online donation, we may disclose your information to an outside company that we use to process the credit card transaction. These third parties will have access to your information only as necessary to perform their functions and to the extent permitted by law.

How We Protect Your Information
We strive to maintain reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to secure your personal information and credit card information. For example, when you provide us personal information and credit card information to make an online donation, we use encryption technology designed to prevent interception of that information while in transit to us. We also use “firewalls” and other security technology to protect our network from attack. Individuals within our organization have limited access to your information based on their responsibilities, and are instructed to protect the confidentiality of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. However, we are unable to guarantee that security measures we take will not be penetrated or compromised or that your information will remain secure under all circumstances.
Of course, if you are sponsoring a participant in a Hoops4Camp event and provide that person with your information, that person would not fall within the control of our organization or be subject to this Privacy Policy and we expressly disclaim (and by using our site you hereby agree that we do not have) any liability or responsibility for the actions or omissions of that person. Likewise, we currently use a trusted vendor (Kintera, Inc.) to host the donor sections of our web site, and we similarly disclaim any liability or responsibility for the actions or omissions of Kintera. However, once a Hoops4Camp event participant or Kintera provides the information to us, we will handle it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
